Buffy The Vampire Slayer vet Charisma Carpenter, 54, sizzles in silk lingerie 20 years after Playboy cover

Charisma Carpenter of Buffy The Vampire Slayer fame still looks just as amazing as she did two decades ago.

The 54-year-old actress, who is known for playing Cordelia Chase on the hit supernatural drama series and its spin-off Angel, was a pinup in a new lingerie photo.

The brunette was in a cotton candy pink silk bra and underwear set while sitting by her winter white Christmas tree.

In her caption she said, ‘Merry CharisMAS,’ which was a play on her first name Charisma.

The single mother saw her pals Rebecca Gayheart and Paulina Porizkova hit the like button.

Charisma was also on the TV show Charmed with the late Shannen Doherty and she posed for Playboy magazine in June 2004.

This comes after Carpenter reprised her role as Cordelia Chase in the Audible Original series Slayers in 2023.

Carpenter previously starred in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which aired from 1997 to 2003, alongside leading star Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Because of her 2021 allegations against Buffy creator Joss Whedon, which sparked her former co-stars to also speak out in 2022 and condemn his past actions, she was hesitant to return to the Buffyverse again.

She previously said Whedon called her ‘fat’ when she was four months pregnant and threatened to fire her.

After he made a vague statement following her accusation, she said he was a ‘tyrannical narcissistic boss who is still unable to be accountable and just apologize.’

At New York Comic Con in October 2023, she told Us Weekly that she had a ‘little bit of apprehension when I first was asked to join’ Slayers.

However, she said ‘those emotions and feelings, open wound feelings were immediately assuaged by Amber [Benson]’s pitch in that I heard her enthusiasm.’

She joined Benson, who portrayed Tara Maclay, on the original audio story project set in an alternate universe where Buffy Summers does not exist.

Decades after the show wrapped, Carpenter had opened up about her experience behind the scenes and was the first of several stars who accused showrunner Whedon of ‘hostile and toxic’ behavior.

However, she told the outlet that she wanted to channel her character’s strength.

‘It’s personal for me. I have lived with Cordelia,’ she said. ‘I performed her for about 10 years of my life, and I feel she, as a character, informed me, the woman that played her.

‘It’s rich to me,’ The Expendables alum continued.

‘The idea of coming into my own power as a young woman through a character that then I ended up using that power in a way to speak out against the creator of that power.’

She continued explaining how it was meaningful and ‘powerful’ to play such a strong character during a tough time in her life.

‘What I mean to say is that in a lot of ways, Cordelia gave birth to Charisma and really informed who I am today,’ she said.

Carpenter added that ‘it was so powerful that I was able to do very hard things at a very critical time in my life.

‘And I think that is the ultimate Buffyverse story — finding out what your purpose is and using it to make the world a better place.’
