Saturday Night Live cast member Chloe Fineman admitted that her impression of Harry Styles left him absolutely shattered.
When asked if she ever struggles with her impersonations, the comedian, 36, recalled her ‘really bad’ attempt at imitating the 31-year-old English singer’s British accent.
Although she has become famous for her on-point impressions of other celebrities, the star, who joined SNL back in 2019, confessed that she just ‘can’t crack’ her impersonation of Styles.
While speaking to Chicken Shop Date host Amelia Dimoldenberg at the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary special, Fineman reflected on the As It Was hitmaker’s disappointed reaction to hearing her impression of him.
‘I did it and he was like at the table and was so devastated by how bad it was,’ she said.
Fineman, then, attempted to show off her British accent to Dimoldenberg as she said: ‘Anyway, I’m Harry Styles, anyway.’

‘Sorry, is Harry in the room right now?” Dimoldenberg, who is from London, quipped back.
Underneath footage from the interview, shared on X, fans of Styles reacted to the painfully bad impression.
‘To be fair that was horrific,’ one wrote.
A second asked: ‘What even was that[two sobbing emojis].’
‘She is diabolical and should never ever try to copy him again,’ a third wrote.
Although Styles previously hosted SNL, Styles and Fineman have never done a live skit together before.
In 2019, Styles received praise from a number of SNL cast members after pulling off double duty as the host and musical guest in November 2019.
At the time, Cecily Strong took to social media to write that Styles ‘is from another planet where the most beautiful and talented beings exist.’

‘He is magical and I think it’s safe to say we were all enchanted and delighted and he should host so much more because he’s very good at this!’ she concluded.
Heidi Gardner also shared a sweet post about Styles, who she said ‘brought a lot of light to SNL’ and was ‘hilarious.’
During his monologue, Styles said it felt ‘great’ and ‘amazing’ to be hosting SNL.
‘It feels like you find out someone likes you as more than just a friend. Saturday Night Live and I have taken things to next level. And just like all my serious relationships, we’re all going to spend one incredible night together and then we’ll never see each other again,’ he joked.

In addition to hosting, Styles has appeared as a musical guest a number of times during both his One Direction days and as a solo artist
The performer continued: ‘This is new territory for me. I’m so excited to do comedy tonight. But I just want to make it clear to you all that my priority is the music. It goes music, then comedy. Well, let’s be honest. It goes music, then fantastic hair, then comedy, then family, then friends. But ultimately, I’m a very serious musician.’
Styles went on to joke that his career was more than just about ‘fame or the money’ as he feels ‘music is the universal language.’
‘Especially songs performed in English ‘cause that’s the only language I understand,’ he mused.
Styles went on to playfully roast the cast as he revealed a ‘few secrets about the show.’

Before launching his solo career, he appeared on the show as a member of One Direction in 2012, 2013 and 2014 (seen in 2014)
‘Did you know they put make-up on the boys too? That is funny. In fact, the make-up team is so talented, I’m actually Kate McKinnon,’ he joked. ‘Also, everybody thinks the cast does a lot of cocaine. They don’t. That’s why the show’s not good anymore. Except tonight.’

Before launching his solo career, he appeared on the show as a member of One Direction in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
As a solo artist, he performed in 2017 and, again, on the same day as his hosting gig in 2019.
