Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), notorious for his endless witch hunts and conspiracy theories, had the gall to lecture Vice President J.D. Vance on the sanctity of the rule of law while simultaneously applauding Joe Biden’s blatant disregard for a Supreme Court decision.

This comes after Vance highlighted the dangers of judicial overreach into executive duties, an analogy drawn from his own military and legal expertise after an Obama-appointed judge blocked the newly established Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) from accessing a crucial Treasury payment system.

“If a judge tried to tell a general how to conduct a military operation, that would be illegal. If a judge tried to command the attorney general in how to use her discretion as a prosecutor, that’s also illegal. Judges aren’t allowed to control the executive’s legitimate power,” Vance wrote.

However, Schiff responded and had the audacity to respond with a lecture on legal compliance, “JD, we both went to law school. But we don’t have to be lawyers to know that ignoring court decisions we don’t like puts us on a dangerous path to lawlessness. We just have to swear an oath to the Constitution. And mean it.”

This is from the same Adam Schiff who was over the moon when Biden decided to deft the Supreme Court’s decision on student debt.

“As I hoped, POTUS has taken swift and decisive action today in the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s ruling on student debt. His commitment to creating other pathways for student debt relief will give millions of Americans hope at a time when the Supreme Court has again failed them,” Schiff wrote, applauding Biden’s lawlessness.

The hypocrisy is not just astounding; it’s a slap in the face to every American who believes in the rule of law.

Biden himself declared, “The Supreme Court tried to block me from relieving student debt. But they didn’t stop me. I’ve relieved student debt for over 5 million Americans. I’m going to keep going.”

Here’s Schiff, who lectures on the sanctity of court decisions when it suits his narrative but celebrates when those same principles are trampled for political gain.
