Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff Showed Up at Lakers NBA Game and Nobody Seemed to Care (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit

Kamala Harris appears to have quickly faded into irrelevance.

The former vice-president and Democratic nominee, who suffered a landslide defeat at the hands of Donald Trump, made an appearance at the Los Angeles Lakers game on Thursday with her husband, Doug Emhoff.

Yet to describe their entrance as underwhelming would be an understatement.

Footage circulating online shows Harris and Emhoff walking up the stairs to take their seats at the Lakers Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

While a few fans greeted Harris or looked over at the former vice-president out of curiosity, the response appeared to be one of total ambivalence.

Despite Harris’s widespread unpopularity, one might have thought that the former vice-president, who served for four years as the state’s U.S. Senator, would be received with more enthusiasm by her fellow Californians.

Meanwhile, compare that to the reception Donald Trump received while he was out of office while attending a UFC event back in July 2023.

Such a lack of interest is even more concerning for Harris given reports that she is mulling her political comeback.

Soon after her humiliating election defeat, Politico reported that Harris was interested in running to replace Gavin Newsom as governor of California in 2026.

That same report suggested that Harris had also not ruled out the possibility of a 2028 presidential bid, although it seems highly unlikely that the Democratic Party would ever nominate her again.

However, polls taken shortly after the election found that a staggering 41 percent of Democrats want her to be the nominee in 2028, with Newsom and Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro registering in a distant second.
